The Shire of Sea
March is the local branch of the
Society for Creative Anachronism
(SCA). The SCA is an international
non-profit educational organization dedicated to recreating the Middle
Ages (defined as roughly 600 to 1600 A.D.) the way they should have been
(no plagues, no poverty, and good bathrooms). Our most benevolent and
virtuous members recreate all aspects of medieval life from weaving and
pottery to wine making and armored combat. Indeed, if there was an
activity or craft in which the humble and pious people of the world
endeavored in the Middle Ages, it is very likely that one of our
populace can tell you exactly how it was done and graciously show you
examples of their own humble work.

There is always some gentle more than willing to talk about what they do. The truth be known, the hard part is getting them to NOT talk about what they do. So please peruse our website, find out when and where the next meeting, practice, training session or event will be and come join us. It could change thine life. |
